I'm Ryan, a restaurant GM. Been in the industry for 7 years and somewhere along the way I got really into building software on the side.
The thing I kept noticing was how much gets lost between shifts. The person closing knows everything. The person opening the next morning knows almost nothing unless someone wrote it down properly. Logs were rushed, details got missed, and finding something from three weeks ago meant digging through everything manually.
So I built ShiftSense. You type your rough notes after service, or just speak them, and AI writes the polished log. Every log becomes searchable so you can ask things like 'when was the last steak complaint?' and actually get an answer. There's also a morning brief that pulls up open follow-ups and shows how this week compares to the same time last year.
I built it with Lovable while working full time as a GM. It's been running in a real restaurant group for months and today felt like the right time to put it out there properly.
