Hey 👋 I'm the builder of ShhMode.
This started selfishly. I'd sit down for deep work — usually deep in some AI-assisted build — hit a token limit or a wall I couldn't think past, and within seconds I'd be doomscrolling. The session was gone, and worse, I never noticed the pattern.
I tried the usual focus apps. They were heavy, team-shaped, naggy — they wanted to "optimise" me. I didn't want to be optimised. I wanted to go quiet.
So ShhMode is exactly that: a real "shh" level of zen. Start off with deep focus right away, or, reset the bench, do a 5-minute starter, lock in for 25, keep looping, and finish. When you hit a wall, you log it with one click and pick a fallback move instead of spiralling. It's local-first — your focus data never leaves your machine.
It's a practice, not a productivity dashboard. I'd love to know how it feels for you. 🍀
