ShareSwitch
Switch what you screen-share without stopping the share
ShareSwitch mirrors any window into one window you share in Teams, Zoom or Meet. Hold Ctrl+Alt and click another window: your call sees it instantly, without topping or re-sharing. Free, open source, no account. Windows 10 & 11.
Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Alex, industrial and UI/UX product designer and founder of AC Design Studio.
I made ShareSwitch out of a very specific frustration. In every design review I'd share one window, then need to show another: stop sharing, hunt for the right thumbnail, share again, "can you see it now?"
Ten seconds of dead air, every time, and sometimes a glimpse of something I didn't mean to show.
ShareSwitch fixes it with one idea: you share a single ShareSwitch window once, and it mirrors whatever window you point at.
Hold Ctrl+Alt, click any window, and that's what your call sees. You can also save windows to number keys and jump between them.
It's free and open source (MIT), needs no account or admin rights, and has no network code at all. The privacy page explains exactly what the keyboard shortcut can and can't see. What it doesn't do yet: show your mouse cursor in the mirror, and run on macOS. I'd really value brutal feedback, especially from people who present a lot.
What would stop you using this every day?

Who hunted ShareSwitch?
ShareSwitch was hunted by Alex de Coninck. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
