Most QR generators route your link through their own server — and quietly break it later. Sharen encodes your link directly into the code, so it keeps working for good. Plus full design control: colors, shapes, your logo, a styled caption. Works offline and supports links, Wi-Fi, contacts, text, email, and phone
Hey everyone! 👋
I'm Kirill, a solo developer based in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
A while back I made a QR code for a business card, printed a batch, and handed them out. About a month later I found out the code had stopped working — the generator I used had routed it through their own server, and something on their end had quietly broken it. No way to fix it once the cards were already printed.
That's the whole reason Sharen exists. Your link gets encoded directly into the QR code — nothing routes through a third-party server, so nothing can quietly break later. On top of that, I wanted QR codes that actually look intentional: custom colors and shapes, your own logo or photo embedded in the code, a styled caption underneath. It also works fully offline, so you're never stuck waiting on a connection to generate one.
Right now Sharen covers links, Wi-Fi, contacts (vCard), text, email, and phone — and I'm actively figuring out what comes next.
Would love to hear what you think, and especially what you'd actually use it for — that's the most useful feedback I can get at this stage.

Who hunted Sharen?
Sharen was hunted by Kirill Feofanov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
