SetFree helps you quit porn by making temptation harder to reach. Block apps and adult websites, then build healthier habits through scripture, prayer, daily check-ins, and progress tracking. When things get tough, find support from an AI chat companion and a community of people fighting the same battle. You don't have to do it alone.
Hey PH! I'm Tony. Most people fighting porn addiction fight it alone or in secret. They don't tell anyone, and every time they slip, the shame convinces them they're too far gone to change.
My cofounders Natália, Jesse and I built SetFree to change that. It blocks the stuff that trips you up, gets you through the moment an urge hits, and gives you a friend to talk to anytime. Most of all, it meets you with grace instead of guilt, because nobody should have to fight this fight alone.
Inspiration
The tools we found were either blockers you can switch off in two taps, or apps that feel like homework. For people of faith, shame makes it worse: one slip feels like proof they're beyond help, and that shame drives the next slip. We wanted an app that shows up in the actual minute an urge hits, gives advice that's backed by real research, and keeps pointing people back to grace instead of guilt.
What it does
Blocks what tempts you. Block any app, filter adult sites, and blocks any site you add (like X or Reddit). Turning it off takes a 3-minute pause, so it's never an impulse.
Gets you through the urge. The panic button's Take Control flow is three short steps: a guided breath, one action proven to help (with the study behind it), and a prayer said over you by name, read out loud. You finish by typing Amen.
Keeps you company. A companion you can text anytime. It shares scripture, prays for you, and suggests concrete steps when you're tempted. We also have a community of people fighting the same battle. You don't have to do it alone.
Tracks progress with grace. Daily check-ins, a streak calendar, and a relapse-risk score that explains itself. Logging a slip leads to encouragement and next steps, not a guilt trip.
Keeps you in the Word. The full Bible offline in 4 translations, plus a study written on the spot for any verse you search.
