As a software developer, getting into a deep flow state is everything to me. But I reached a breaking point where sudden commercial interruptions on mainstream music platforms were constantly derailing my focus train. It takes an average of 23 minutes to fully recover from a micro-distraction, and I wanted to reclaim that time.
I built "Set the Vibe" to act as a physical and mental anchor on my desk. I chose a local-first architecture to ensure the app is fast, incredibly lightweight, and entirely respectful of user privacy.
