A global map for reconnecting with strangers you shared a moment with — a lost pet, a thank-you never said, a reunion, a future trip. Pin the place and time, and if someone else does too, you get matched. Built solo. Beta — feedback welcome.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Enrique, and I built Serendip Moments solo over the past few months.
The idea started from a very simple, very human feeling: sometimes we share a moment with a complete stranger — a look on a train, someone who helped us and vanished before we could say thanks, a pet we found but couldn't keep — and there's never been a way to find that person again.
Serendip is a global map where you drop a pin on the exact place and time something happened. If the other person does the same, the app connects you. You can mark something from the Past, something happening right now, or something in the Future (like "I'll be at this festival, anyone else?").
This is a real beta — I've built and tested it mostly alone. It currently works in English, Spanish, and Russian, a few other languages are partially translated, and you might hit the occasional rough edge. The moments you'll see on the map right now are seed/test data I created myself while building — there's no real community yet. You'd genuinely be among the first real ones.
I'd love to hear:
- What's confusing in the flow (publishing, matching, chat)
- What type of "moment" you wish existed
- Anything that looks broken
Thanks for taking a look 🙏
Pin dropped a moment from a flight last week and already got matched with someone who was in the same row years ago. The map view is clean and the matching feels genuinely serendipitous rather than forced.

Serendip Moments was hunted by Enrique. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
