Hey PH 👋

We built SEODoc after getting tired of switching between multiple SEO tools just to complete a single audit workflow. Our goal was to create one platform that makes technical SEO, indexing, monitoring, and reporting much simpler for agencies and founders.

Comment highlights

One thing we learned from agency users is that speed matters just as much as insights. Nobody wants to spend hours exporting reports or checking multiple dashboards every morning.

We know SEO tools can sometimes feel intimidating, especially for smaller businesses. That’s why we tried to keep the interface lightweight and focused instead of overwhelming users with hundreds of metrics.

The platform has evolved a lot from the first beta version. Early testers pushed us to improve crawl reporting, page health visibility, and overall dashboard clarity — and that feedback shaped a huge part of the current product.

One challenge while building this was making advanced SEO insights understandable for non-SEO users. We spent a lot of time simplifying recommendations so founders and small teams can actually act on them.

A big focus for us was reducing the amount of manual SEO work teams deal with every week. A lot of repetitive monitoring and reporting tasks are now automated inside the platform.

We started building SEODoc because most SEO workflows felt fragmented. You’d use one tool for audits, another for indexing, another for reporting, and spreadsheets for everything else. We wanted a cleaner all-in-one experience.

Really excited to finally share this with the Product Hunt community 🚀 We’ve been iterating based on feedback from real users for months, and we’re looking forward to hearing what features or integrations you’d love to see next.

One interesting thing we noticed while building this: many startups focus only on AI-generated content but completely ignore technical SEO foundations like crawlability, schema, and indexing. We wanted SEODoc to help fix that gap.

Launching an SEO product in 2026 is honestly challenging because the market is crowded, but we felt there was still room for a cleaner, more practical experience focused on speed and simplicity.

We designed SEODoc for agencies, indie hackers, marketers, and small businesses that want professional SEO workflows without enterprise-level pricing. Keeping the platform accessible was important for us.

The Google Auto-Indexing feature has probably generated the most feedback from beta users so far. Many content teams wanted a faster way to push fresh pages into indexing workflows without doing everything manually.

Building SEODoc taught us that most businesses don’t actually need dozens of disconnected SEO tools. They mainly want actionable insights, reliable tracking, and faster execution — that’s the direction we tried to follow.

A lot of founders don’t realize their sites have technical SEO issues until traffic drops. That’s one of the reasons we added automated audits, uptime monitoring, and page speed tracking into the same workflow.

The White Label reporting feature came directly from agency feedback. Many early users wanted cleaner client-facing SEO reports without third-party branding, so we made that a core part of the platform from day one.

One thing we focused heavily on was usability. SEO platforms often feel overwhelming for small teams, so we spent a lot of time simplifying the dashboard and making reports easier to understand and share with clients.
