Did you know that website performance (for each URL e.g. that of specific blog posts) is important to rank well in Google and other search engines?

Probably even more important right now: it is also important if you want your content to be used by ChatGPT and other search agents.

SEO Speed Test gives you a report about Google's own web vital speed test results that get reported from field testing by real Google Chrome users on desktop and mobile.

SEO Speed Test also has actionable recommendations on what to do to make your performance score better.

You can use the report and its recommendation to fix the performance issues yourself or forward them to the right person.

For technical SEO consultants a report by SEO Speed Test is also a great conversation starter with existing and future clients.

We often use it ourselves in kick-off meetings for technical SEO improvement sprints and we are super happy that we can make it available to all of you today.

Have a great weekend!

Nice launch, but how is this different from asking AI to run an enhanced speed and optimization audit on my website? Can this connect to an AI agent and fix recommendations automatically?

Is it normal that the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service links of both SEO Speed Test and Findable return: 404 Not Found?

How do you handle the data we share with you?

@SEO Speed Test Congrats on the launch! 🎉 Love that this leverages real Google Chrome user data for Web Vitals – that's a game-changer for proving impact. Using it as a conversation starter for clients is brilliant! For the actionable recommendations, how granular do they get? For example, do they provide specific code snippets or just general advice on areas like image optimization or render-blocking resources?

What is the purpose of this tool, considering PageSpeed provides similar insights? Also, the EEAT Check tool doesn't seem to be working.

Very useful. It helps me to test in a distribution way and I find my website's perfomance for all device is "Poor". Now I should take more affort to fix the speed issue.

Nice use of google APIs with LLM, well done @__tosh @peterbuch

No way, this is exactly what I needed! My blog's been struggling with slow load times—love that you’re tackling the Google and ChatGPT angle. Does it give specific fix suggestions too?

Congrats on the launch!🎉 This is a great starting point for any performance audit. Leading with CrUX data is the right move, even if many smaller sites won't have it. The one-click link to PageSpeed Insights for lab data is a necessary and well-implemented fallback. You've built a sharp, no-fluff tool that clarifies a really important (and often confusing) part of technical SEO. Respect.

Congrats to the team on launching this super helpful product 🎉! Leveraging Google and ChatGPT to easily detect and fix slow pages is a huge step forward in SEO optimization. Definitely a must-have tool for SEO experts and webmasters from now on! 🚀✨

Congrats on the launch. Thomas!

Just curious, will it have any SEO optimization func in the future?

Congratulations on another successful launch after findable. Curious why you are launching this lead magnet after the main launch rather than the opposite?

"Not Enough Chrome User Experience Data" -- on my first try :-(

Super sharp tool, Thomas — love how actionable and clean the output is. Especially relevant now with how search engines and AI agents both reward speed.

Curious: when agencies or site owners run into trouble implementing fixes, how are you thinking about guiding or supporting them in real time? Performance optimizations often get stuck at the handoff stage.

We’re launching something on PH soon that might interest you — it’s called Exthalpy, a live AI video agent built to help users take real action (not just chat) when they’re stuck mid-task. Would love to hear your thoughts when we go live 🙌

All the best,

Udit (fellow PH builder)

What I love about SEO Speed Test is that it uses real user data (not just lab tests) to show how your site performs in Google’s eyes. Super useful for client reports and internal audits.

Congrats on building something genuinely useful @__tosh

This is a great tool, but I'm curious, how is it different from Google PageSpeed Insights?
