Your SEO screenshot can’t prove itself.
I built SEO Receipts because SEO wins are still shared as screenshots. Even when they’re honest, screenshots are easy to crop, go stale, and ask everyone else to trust the claim.
SEO Receipts connects to Google Search Console read-only. You choose a property Google already knows your account can access, then publish a live receipt showing clicks, impressions, change, rankings, and data freshness. No CSV uploads, no traffic estimates, and no write access.
The public proof layer is free: receipt, leaderboard, share cards, badge, and head-to-head traffic duels. Pro adds an evidence-backed daily SEO workbench.
The hard design problem wasn’t fetching numbers—it was communicating the verification boundary honestly. Search Console access is evidence; it is not the same thing as legal ownership, and the receipt says so.
I’d love your feedback on two things:
1. Does the receipt establish trust quickly enough?
2. What would make you comfortable putting the badge on your own site?
If you have a Search Console property, put your site on the record and tell me where the experience feels unclear.
the owner-vs-user distinction you fixed with Saied is good, but there's a related gap that's harder to fix: "verified" here means "verified that this is really what Search Console shows," not "verified that this traffic is legitimate." someone running black-hat SEO, buying bot clicks, or gaming rankings short-term would still get a clean receipt, since GSC just reports what it sees regardless of how the traffic was earned. with public leaderboards and traffic duels specifically, that's an incentive to win the number rather than earn it honestly. is there any plan to flag anomalous patterns (sudden spikes, bot-like click distributions) or is the receipt strictly "this is what Google reported, judge the rest yourself"?
Congrats on the launch, Michael — love how clean the core idea is. The access-vs-ownership piece is the tricky part: Google will hand back data for a site you were just added to, which isn't the same as owning it. How do you show that difference on the receipt, so someone can tell "verified traffic" from "verified traffic and verified owner"?

Who hunted SEO Receipts?
SEO Receipts was hunted by Michael Rode. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
