SenseIT turns videos into readable summaries in your language, straight from the iOS share sheet. Share a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook video and get a transcript, translation and summary in seconds - with seven analysis modes and 33 languages.
Hi everyone, maker here.
SenseIT came out of a small, repetitive annoyance. I kept running into videos in
languages I do not speak, mostly on TikTok and Instagram, and understanding them
meant copying the link, opening another app, pasting it, waiting. By the time the
summary appeared I had lost interest in the video.
So SenseIT runs inside the iOS share sheet instead. Tap Share on the video, pick
SenseIT, and it works in a panel on top of whatever you were watching. No copying,
no app switching.
The other half is that it translates rather than only summarizing. Most tools in
this space condense a video in its original language, which is no help if that is
not a language you read.
Honest limits: it works from spoken audio, so music only clips cannot be summarized,
and private videos usually fail because the app is not logged in as you.
Happy to answer anything. Genuinely curious which languages people need most.
