Hi Product Hunt — I'm Thabo, solo developer in Maseru, Lesotho. I built Senqu because I kept wanting to convert HEIC photos to JPEG and the only options were either uploading my personal photos to some random web tool, or installing a full image editor with a $20/month subscription for a one-click job. Neither felt right.
Senqu is small, native, and does only what it says — batch convert between JPEG/PNG/HEIC/TIFF, combine images into a PDF, compress with a quality slider or target file size, resize, strip EXIF/GPS metadata. Lives in your menu bar or full window.
Built entirely on Apple's frameworks (ImageIO, PDFKit, SwiftUI, AppKit) — no third-party dependencies, no analytics, no network code. The privacy isn't a promise in a policy; it's structural.
