Create a habit, take a picture before the deadline and your friend either approves or denies the proof. That's it. We wanted to keep it simple and offload chatting & social media features to apps that are actually made for it.
I had a friend I wanted to keep accountable, he works best under supervision and accountability. We used to just send photos via WhatsApp, Telegram or Messenger but it was too messy and fragmented. Apps on the market that try to do something similar either don't have the accountability partner functionality or are full blown platforms that lock you inside including texting.
So we built this with as minimal functionality as possible to get out of your way. Open the app, select the deadline, grab a photo, submit and close the app. Your coach will get a notification to check your deadline.
We also have decided to have a solo mode where you can be your own coach for the cases where you don't need an accountability partner. Which defeats the purpose of the app but it's there in case you need it.
