The idea came from a simple frustration: I wanted to transfer a video from my phone to my computer without emailing it to myself, uploading it to a cloud service, or looking for a USB cable.
So I built Sendly.

The no-account thing is genuinely nice, just popped open the site on my laptop and phone and it worked right away. Wish more file tools did this instead of forcing a signup.
finally tried this with a friend's laptop and the code-based pairing felt almost instant, no fussing with cloud uploads or permissions. really nice for quick photo dumps when neither of us wants to install another app
Moved a 2GB video from my laptop to my phone in under a minute, no app install or sign-up. The six-digit code system is genuinely the fastest way I've found to dodge AirDrop headaches on non-Apple gear.
Love how frictionless this is, no signup is such a nice change. One thing that would seal the deal for me is a Chrome or Firefox extension so I can send a file straight from the browser without even opening the site first. That way I could right click a download and beam it to my laptop in one step.
Finally tried Sendly to move some videos to my laptop and it was honestly painless. No signups, just typed the code and the files flew over. This is what AirDrop should feel like on every device.
