Hey Product Hunt! I’m a software engineering manager out in California, and when I'm not at my desk, you can usually find me bouldering or top roping at my local gym. Recently, I decided I wanted to start digitally tracking my climbing sessions, but I had a very specific workflow in mind. I wanted something completely offline (since concrete warehouse gyms have notoriously terrible cell service), fast enough to use with chalky hands, and available for a simple one-time price instead of another monthly subscription. Rather than searching around, I used it as an excuse to build a side project exactly the way I envisioned it. That’s how Sendbook was born, and I’m incredibly excited to launch Version 1.0 today! My main goal was to keep it incredibly straightforward and reject the subscription model completely. Sendbook is a flat $2.99 one-time download—basically the price of a yerba mate—just to help cover my Apple Developer fees. You buy it once, you own it forever, and there are absolutely zero ads. Here is a quick look at what is packed into Version 1.0: 100% Offline-First: It relies entirely on local storage. It logs instantly even if you have zero bars of cell service. Fast Logging: Tappable grade grids and large attempt buttons designed to be used in seconds so you can get right back on the wall. Live Activity Rest Timer: A built-in rest timer that sits right in your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island so you don't have to keep unlocking your phone between goes. Visual Analytics: A 16-week GitHub-style activity heatmap, session intensity tracking, and a 30-day grade pyramid. Global Grading & Languages: Natively supports V-Scale/YDS, Font, and Kyū/Dan scales. (Note: The app is currently English-only, but language localization is high on my roadmap!) Your Data is Yours: You can fully export and import your entire logbook via CSV at any time. You aren't locked into a closed ecosystem. Thank you so much for checking it out, and let's crush those projects!
