Semitexa is an open-source PHP 8.4 framework for long-running Swoole servers and AI-assisted development. A project graph lets you (or your AI agent) query routes, dependencies and blast radius before editing. Pages render on the server and arrive in stages, with deferred blocks and live SSE updates and no second frontend. ORM, tenancy and queues are built in, and traces plus targeted tests verify every change. Explore 81 live demo routes, with the source next to each one.
Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Taras, the maker of Semitexa.
In 2024 I started Semitexa to fix two things that kept slowing me down:
1. AI agents write code fast but understand applications slowly. Semitexa keeps the structure explicit and queryable: typed payload → handler → resource, a project graph, runtime traces. An agent (or a new teammate) can find the right code and prove a change works.
2. PHP apps often become two apps: a backend plus a frontend that re-implements the same rules. Semitexa runs on a long-running Swoole runtime and streams server-rendered HTML (deferred blocks, live SSE updates), so each view lives in one place.
It's MIT-licensed and already runs real sites: a regional history museum, a rental marketplace with an AI concierge, and the semitexa.com sites themselves.
The animation in the gallery is a live recording of Observatory on my dev server: every request flowing through gate → auth → handler → render.
I'd love your feedback, especially if you've tried AI agents on a large PHP codebase. What would make you try a new PHP framework?

Semitexa was hunted by Taras Hanych. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
