Hi Product Hunt, I'm the developer of SeichiGo.
I live in Chiba and last January I spent a day walking the "Your Name" locations in Tokyo. Planning took longer than the walk: the spots were scattered across a dozen blog posts, some only said "near Yotsuya", and none told me which station to start from or what order to visit in. So I built this.
What it does:
- A worldwide map of about 50,000 real-life anime locations across 1,500+ series, each pinned to the scene it appears in. Free, no sign-up.
- A trip planner: give it a series and your dates ("8 days in Tokyo over Christmas for Weathering With You and Your Name") and it picks spots from the database, orders them into a day-by-day route with walking/transit times, and adds a lunch stop. Each stop opens in Google Maps. This part needs an email sign-in because every run costs real model calls; the free tier plans up to 3 days.
- A few walking guides we wrote after actually doing the routes, with our own photos.
Location data comes from the community-maintained anitabi.cn database (credited on every point), plus our own additions. Runs on Cloudflare Workers with Postgres.
I'd love to hear where the data is wrong, which series are missing, and whether the planner's routes make sense to people who've done these trips.
