YouTube retired viewer ‘Clips’ in April 2026, and Segue brings it back and better. You can mark start and end points to create clips from multiple YouTube videos, add transitions, and share the sequence as one link. There's no need for downloads or re-uploads. It's human-curated, with no AI auto-clipping.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
On April 17, 2026, YouTube discontinued the viewer ‘Clips’ feature. The replacement, "Share at Timestamp," only marks where a clip starts. There’s no end point or title. If you ever used Clips to pull a few moments from a video, that workflow is gone.
So, I created Segue to bring it back and make it better.
Here’s how it works. Paste the link of a YouTube video into Segue and mark the start and end points. These marked points automatically merge, and you get a clean shareable mix.
You can drop links of multiple videos from the same YouTube channel into one sequence, mark your points as usual, add a transition, and share the whole thing as a single link. There’s no need to download, re-upload, or re-host. Segue runs everything in your browser.
3 deliberate behaviours:
- Favours YouTube creators
Every clip streams from the source YouTube video(s), so every play on a Segue mix counts as a real view for the original YouTube creator.
- Same channel
All clipping can only be done from one YouTube channel. This keeps it clean in terms of copyright, and it respects creators.
- No AI auto-clipping
Segue is built for human curation. You know which moments are the best ones, and the tool makes capturing and sharing them effective.
Segue is free to start. On the free plan, you can drop one video (link) into the Segue Studio and mark up to 3 clips.
With the paid plans, you can drop multiple videos and mark unlimited clips.
The paid plan starts at $5/month, and there's a launch lifetime deal of $59 for the first 500 folks who want to lock it in.
I'd genuinely love your feedback, especially on views counting for the original creator, and whether the same-channel behaviour feels right for you.
What will you clip first? 🙂

Who hunted Segue?
Segue was hunted by Nkemdilim Odili. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
