It's an alternative to existing solutions like Phone Link but opensource, tailored for users who want a straightforward and efficient way to keep their devices in sync.
Links: Windows App: Microsoft Store | Github Android App: Github (You can get the APK from the github releases and no it's not on play store yet, though you can get it from izzyonDroid)
@shrimqy An open-source alternative to Phone Link sounds like a great option for users who value privacy and customization. Keeping devices in sync without proprietary restrictions is a big win!
Given how unstable Phone link usually is - thank you for building this! Will be giving it a spin shortly, as soon as i find an android device I can sideload apks into (my work device won't let me).
Side note/Feature request: Have you thought about adding a better way to use the Android camera as a source in Windows? I think Phone Link does this now, but is super flaky and requires an app restart every time. Kind of like droidcam but integrated into Sefirah?
Congratulations on launching this open-source alternative! It’s great to see a focus on simplicity in device synchronization. How do you plan to engage the community for contributions and feature requests moving forward?
Seems like it's pretty damn useful, assuming there's no mac support just yet but would be very interested when you release that!
I like the UX/UI looks very smart & clean with the layouts & now slightly envious of Windows/Android users now!
Congrats on the launch & best of luck w/ today!
How will I know when it lands for Mac?
Been jealous of that smooth Mac-iPhone sync forever - finally we Android/Windows folks get our moment! 📱💻
MacBook client coming soon? I feel I'm the only person left with a mac and android, but I would totally use that lol
This is interesting. Does it also support Mac? I used to transfer files via chat apps between my Mac, Windows, and my phone. It is especially inconvenient when WeChat only allows one computer log-in, so I have to always open and close it on two computers.
