We enhance museum visits with personalized contextual insights powered by AI—making art appreciation accessible to all. At SeeMuseums, we believe every artwork tells a story, and that art should speak to everyone, not just experts.
I'm Yifan, the CTO and co-founder of SeeMuseums — super excited to finally share what we've been building!
While SeeMuseums was originally designed to enhance in-person museum visits, we understand not everyone browsing Product Hunt has immediate access to a gallery or museum on our launch day. That’s why we’ve prepared clear, easy ways for you to try it out right from your couch: after you've downloaded the app, open this link from your browser and we've prepared museum tags that you could scan via your phone to taste the experience.
We’d love for you to give it a spin and tell us what you think. Whether you’re a museum geek, developer, or just curious, your feedback means a lot!
Also, we’re building a small community on Discord to share updates, get feedback, and talk about all things tech + culture. You can join us here: SeeMuseums Discord Channel 🚀
Haven’t had a chance to try it in a museum yet, though the recognition from an exhibition page works really well. A nice reminder to visit my favorite galleries!
Absolutely love what you’re building with SeeMuseums! It’s such a refreshing way to experience art, and the tech behind it is super smart. Would be awesome to see this listed on AIXYZ so more people can stumble upon it and give it a try!
Congrats on the launch! I traveled to Europe last winter and visited a number of museums—including the Uffizi Gallery in Florence—but didn’t know much about the history behind many of the artworks, which left me really curious. This kind of tool is incredibly valuable and helpful. I especially love that it generates a journal to keep track of what I’ve seen—it’s such a great way to remember and reflect on the experience. Can’t wait to use SeeMuseums on my next trip!
This is amazing - well done! It was the promise of AR at one point to deliver experiences like this, but AI is truly unlocking new frontiers. I'll need to pop into a museum soon to check out SeeMuseums! Congrats on the launch.
This is such a beautiful use of AI — making art more accessible and personal is a mission worth backing. Love how SeeMuseums bridges the gap between expert knowledge and everyday curiosity. Excited to see how this enriches both in-person visits and remote exploration!
SeeMuseums is an amazing innovation! With AI technology providing personalized contextual insights, museums become more alive and engaging for everyone. I love how SeeMuseums makes art more accessible and understandable to all. This product will definitely enhance the museum experience!
Congratulations on the launch @yifan_wang6
My two cents: If you’re thinking AI tours should replace the traditional boring manual ones, then it better be hyper-personalized.
This is a very promising concept. it will definitely shine lots of light on rare pieces of art.
One vote as someone who isn't very artistic! This app is really helpful when visiting art galleries, and the ui design is great, go for it!
"Their user interface is very polished and intuitive, making subscription sign-up process a breeze. This service is great for discovering pieces you didn’t know you needed."
As someone who's into art and museum learning, I'm so glad that SeeM leverages AI to make our visiting&learning more effective and rewarding!
Congratulations on launching SeeMuseums! This tool effectively addresses the challenge of making art more engaging and understandable for a diverse audience.
How does SeeMuseums tailor its contextual insights to different visitor backgrounds and preferences, ensuring a personalized experience for everyone?
Walked through a gallery last month and kept thinking, wish I knew more about I'm looking at. This changes that completely.
The way this makes art feel less intimidating is exactly what's missing in most museum visits. Loving the direction here.
Just send this to my cousin who struggles to connect with museum art this would help so much. Feels personal and approachable.
