I tried with a photo of a choripan (typical south-american sandwich that isn't a hot dog) and it recognized it as a choripan. Model needs a little more tweaking but good project nevertheless!

I tried 20 images, and the only one that said hot dog yes was the one with a hot dog in it. This is why I pay for Internet.

I recommend trying Seefood! It's an app that asks you the question, "Is a hot dog or not?" and helps you figure out which of the most popular technologies in San Francisco are real "hot dogs" and which aren't.
