What inspired me & the problem I wanted to solve:
Every time I built or tested local databases, I ran into the same roadblock: standard dummy generators produce low-quality data that breaks foreign key relationships, while downloading live production data creates major PII privacy and security risks. I wanted a way to get production-grade, realistic test data instantly without breaking schema rules or risking data leaks.
How the approach evolved:
Initially, the plan was just a basic mock data generator. But as I worked on it, I realized that true utility comes from schema intelligence. The focus shifted toward using AI to automatically parse complex SQL schemas, maintain full relational integrity across primary/foreign keys, and generate realistic context-aware data types (like actual transaction logs, addresses, and user profiles).
