Hey Product Hunt! I'm Daniel, the maker behind Seeder. I built Seeder to solve two major frustrations I was facing in my daily development cycle. First, most project management tools today are heavy, expensive, and lock up your data. I wanted a lightweight, self-hosted alternative—something built with the same "zero-bloat" open-source philosophy as Gitea. Second, the way we build software is changing. Spending my days deep in AI-first IDEs like Cursor and Windsurf, I realized there was a massive, jarring disconnect between my project management board and my coding environment. Context switching kills momentum. That’s exactly why I engineered Seeder with native Model Context Protocol (MCP) support right out of the box. Instead of tabbing back and forth, your local AI assistant can securely read, query, and update your project tasks directly from your terminal or editor. It’s designed to be incredibly flexible—you can spin it up locally, throw it on a Node server, or deploy it serverless on Cloudflare Workers. Since this is my first major open-source launch, I’m incredibly excited to share it with this community. I would absolutely love to hear your feedback, especially from those of you experimenting with agentic workflows or self-hosting! I'll be hanging out in the comments all day, so feel free to ask me anything about the architecture, the MCP implementation, or the roadmap!

Seeder was hunted by Daniel Syauqi. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
