As a cybersecurity team, we've spent years performing security assessments for startups, enterprises, and development teams. One recurring issue we observed was that sensitive information—API keys, access tokens, credentials, and other secrets—often gets exposed unintentionally during everyday browsing and development activities.
The browser has become the primary workspace for developers and professionals, yet it remains one of the most overlooked security layers. Existing solutions are often complex, expensive, or require data to be sent to external services for analysis.
We built SecureLint to make browser security simple, privacy-first, and accessible. SecureLint helps users identify risky websites, detect exposed secrets, and stay protected from phishing and malicious web threats—all while processing data locally within the browser.
