Tried it with my upcoming flight to Lisbon and it dropped me into a room with three other travelers, one of whom was already swapping tips about pasteis de nata spots. The translation feature actually made the conversation flow without that awkward pause-and-Google thing.

One thing that would make it even better is a quick meetup scheduler inside the city room, like letting people propose a time and place for coffee or a walk and see who can join. Right now you can find people but there's no easy way to actually arrange to meet up in person.

Being able to scope rooms by travel date would be huge, so I'm not just lumped in with everyone going to Tokyo across a whole month. Maybe let users set their departure window when joining a city room so the people I match with are actually on overlapping trips.
