Years ago an American friend visited me and wanted a hanko — the personal seal we press in vermilion ink instead of signing. His options were sad: katakana he couldn't read, kanji that wasn't legally his name, or his alphabet in a lifeless plain font. Readable, registrable, actually a seal — he could pick any two.
SealFont is my answer. Type any name and a geometry engine composes it in the manner of kissō-tai, the auspicious seal script — in about 3 seconds, free, unlimited, no login.
A twist you might enjoy: I built this WITH AI (my teammates were AI systems writing code and arguing design with me at 2am), but the product itself uses NO AI image generation. Image models hallucinate letters and can't promise uniqueness — a seal must be one of one. So every seal is composed deterministically from cryptographic randomness, recorded once under a serial number, and can be exported as real engraving vectors (AI/EPS/SVG) to be carved into a physical hanko.
