Every URL shortener I tried wanted an account before it let me do anything. So I stopped signing up.
SDN.ac is what I built instead.
Paste a link. You get a short one. If you need an expiry, a password, one-time access, or a QR code, those are there too. No dashboard. No verification email. No onboarding.
There’s also a small API if you’re generating links from a script or an app. That’s the part I’m least sure about, so I’d rather hear what you’d actually expect from it than ship the wrong thing.
Two honest questions:
Is skipping the account useful to you, or does it make the link feel less trustworthy?
And if you try the API, what would make it fit cleanly into your workflow?
