The first time I asked ChatGPT to help me prep for a D&D session, it made up official rules, gaslit me about an NPC I'd never written, gave my villain a motivation I'd explicitly ruled out, and confidently described a city I hadn't built yet. I realised I spent more time correcting it and copy pasting context than I would have spent just writing from scratch.
That became the pattern with every AI tool I tried. They could generate fluently and endlessly but they didn't know my campaign. So they filled the gaps with plausible-sounding hallucinated fiction that wasn't mine. Every Friday I was auditing AI output instead of telling a story.
That's the problem ScriptoriumGM is built around. The Campaign Assistant isn't a blank-slate chatbot.
