I built Screenforge because I ran into a problem myself. I needed to create a product demo, so I bought a screen recording tool and got the job done. A month later I needed it again and realized something: for people creating demos occasionally, paying recurring subscriptions never felt right.
That eventually became Screenforge.
Screenforge is a free screen recorder and demo creator focused on helping you create polished videos without juggling multiple tools. It comes with features like automatic zoom, smooth cursor animations, built-in editing, captions, keyboard shortcuts, teleprompter, text overlays, transitions, and more.
A lot of effort has gone into the small details because they completely change how a demo feels.
