The scope-creep firewall for freelancers and small agencies. Turn messy client requests into structured scope, tracked changes, and billable work.

Top comment

hey everyone, i built scopzi because i kept noticing the same problem across freelancers and small agencies: scope creep is everywhere, but most people don't have a good way to handle it. a client asks for "one quick change." then another. then another. eventually hours of extra work pile up, but because everything happens in chats, emails, calls, and messages, it's hard to draw a clear line between what's included and what's extra. most people either awkwardly negotiate every request or just do the work for free to keep the relationship healthy. i wanted to build something that made that process transparent for both sides. scopzi acts as a scope-creep firewall. it helps turn proposals into structured scope, detects potential extra requests in conversations, drafts change orders, tracks goodwill work, and shows how much revenue is being recovered instead of lost. the feature i'm most excited about is the AI scope assistant. when a client asks for something new, scopzi compares it against the agreed scope and helps determine whether it's in scope, extra work, or something you'd like to do as goodwill. this is still early, and i'd genuinely love feedback from freelancers, consultants, agency owners, and anyone who works with clients. what's your current process for dealing with scope creep?
