Ściežka
Free wind-aware bike & hike route planner with GPX export
Ściežka is a 100% free outdoor route planner and Komoot alternative for road, gravel, MTB cyclists, and hikers. Plan point-to-point rides or auto-generate round-trip loops with live wind vectors along the route, surface & elevation breakdowns, physics-based ride time and nutrition plans, printable A4 cue sheets, Virtual Bike Garage component wear tracking, and instant worldwide GPX/FIT/TCX export with zero regional paywalls.
Hi Product Hunt! I’m Vlad, the maker of Ściežka (scezka.com).
I started building Ściežka after a 120 km autumn gravel ride went sideways: first, a popular navigation app hit us with a regional paywall just to export a GPX file across a county border; second, we spent the last 50 km grinding at 11 km/h into a 35 km/h ridge headwind that standard weather forecasts never showed along the track; and third, a worn chain started skipping on the climbs.
I wanted a fast, no-nonsense route planner built around real outdoor logistics rather than social feed bloat or locked map regions:
1. Worldwide Route Planning & Free GPX/FIT/TCX Export: Multi-engine routing (Valhalla, BRouter, GraphHopper, OSRM) with detailed surface breakdown (paved, gravel, cobbles, singletrack) and elevation profiles — 100% free globally.
2. Live Wind & Weather Vectors Along the Track: Enter your departure time and pace to see exactly where headwinds, crosswinds, and tailwinds will hit you at each kilometer, and reverse your loop in one click.
3. Printable A4 Cue Sheets & Brevet Roadbooks: Generate foldable, waterproof turn-by-turn cue sheets with control points and water/food stops for when phone batteries die.
4. Virtual Bike Garage: Track mileage on individual chains, cassettes, tires, and brake pads so you replace a $25 chain before it ruins a $150 cassette.
There is no signup wall — you can open https://scezka.com/map and build or export a route right away. I’d love your feedback on the routing profiles, wind overlay, and what features you’d want for your next ride or hike!

Who hunted Ściežka?
Ściežka was hunted by Uladzislau Rybakou. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
