I see a lot of QR codes lately, and I think we can make the world a little bit nicer by putting art into them.
I'm not the first to make artistic codes. There are diffusion models for this, but they all look like the code melted/merged into the picture, and I thought this would not work for companies, etc.
You can generate codes with ChatGPT & co. now too, but they don't work reliably and often destroy the code itself with the art.
So I made a new approach to make the codes more visually clear, and I have a repair mode built in. There is still a lot of room for improvement. But I thought somebody might find it useful.
The logo overlay blends nicely without killing scannability, and the Repair Mode actually worked when I got a little too creative with the colors. The AI tweaks feel more like a starting point than a one-click solution, but it's a solid free option for branded codes.
The auto scan-check before letting you publish is such a thoughtful touch. So many QR generators let you ship a design that fails at the worst moment.
Tried a couple of designs with my coffee shop logo and the scan check gave me peace of mind that they actually work. The AI tweaks were surprisingly on point.
honestly this looks really fun, the logo upload is a nice touch. one thing though, would be great if you could save a bunch of brand presets like colors and shapes so you don't have to re-enter everything every time you make a new code
The logo embedding came out cleaner than I expected, and the scan check gave me peace of mind before printing. Repair Mode actually fixed a design I'd almost given up on.
