I originally created this app for myself. I often had a QR code on my screen but no easy way to read and open it. In particular, I just wanted to open payment QR codes in my banking app of choice.
But I soon noticed there are many more things you can do with this - especially around automation.
I've taken the feedback from the first version and made ScanCode much simpler to use. It now natively detects different kinds of payloads, and you can define what should happen when you press the keyboard shortcut and it finds a code on your screen.
