I built Scan2Sheets because I wanted a simple, fast way to scan barcodes into a spreadsheet without making a mess.
Many small businesses use Google Sheets as a database, but manual data entry is slow. Most basic scanners just dump raw text, creating duplicates and "dirty data." The usual workaround is stacking platforms like Glide with Zapier, which quickly eats up free task limits.
How Scan2Sheets fixes this:
Direct API & OAuth: Connects securely to your Google account and streams scans in real-time—no third-party middleware needed.
Schema Builder: Map your columns directly in the app.
Inline UI Prompts: Right after a scan, it prompts you to adjust quantities or edit fields before data hits the sheet, keeping your database clean.
Why I need your feedback:
The app is currently 100% free with zero ads in an early testing phase. Before spending weeks on development, I want to know if this tool is actually useful to you.
My current roadmap includes adding a robust offline mode, background sync, and a continuous/speed scanning mode. But first, I want to validate if it's worth spending time on these features.
