Savyre AI Coding Workflow
Turn AI Coding into a structured, reviewable workflow
AI coding is fast, but without structure it can lead to missed requirements, shallow codebase understanding and difficult reviews. Savyre AI Coding Workflow guides developers through clear stages—from task intake and requirement analysis to design, implementation, testing, code review and impact analysis. Each stage creates a reviewable artifact and checkpoint, helping teams improve traceability, validation and developer ownership of AI-assisted code.
We built Savyre after seeing a recurring problem with AI-assisted coding: code can be generated quickly, but teams still need confidence that the requirements were understood, the existing codebase was explored, the changes were properly reviewed and tested, and the developer genuinely owns the final result.
Savyre AI Coding Workflow brings structure to that process. It guides developers through clear stages including task intake, requirement analysis, codebase discovery, design, planning, implementation, testing, code review, impact analysis and final submission.
Each stage creates a reviewable checkpoint, and its approved output becomes the input for the next stage. This gives developers and engineering teams better traceability and visibility without removing human judgement from the process.
We are launching an early version and would genuinely value feedback from developers and engineering leaders:
Where does your AI-assisted coding workflow become difficult to trust today? Which review checkpoints matter most before AI-generated code is accepted?

I picked this up because our team adopted Copilot quickly but code review got worse — lots of changes, less explanation of why things were done. Savyre sits in VS Code/Cursor and runs you through a fixed sequence: understand the task, break down requirements, look at what’s already in the repo, plan the work, build it, test it, fix what breaks, think about security, then review and approve before you move on. It’s not trying to out-code your AI tool; it just keeps the human steps from getting skipped. We use it on real internal projects, not candidate assessments. Setup was straightforward — install the extension, open the folder you’re working in, start a session. A bit more process than I’m used to, but that’s kind of the point. If your problem is “AI makes us fast but sloppy,” this is worth trying for a week and seeing if the review conversations get easier.
Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Savyre helps developers follow a practical AI coding workflow with clear checkpoints from understanding requirements to planning, implementation, testing, code review, impact analysis, and final approval. Instead of treating AI as the final answer, it makes the entire development process more transparent and easier to review.
This is our first public release, and we'd love honest feedback from the community.
How are you reviewing AI-generated code today?
What's the biggest challenge your team faces when using AI for development?
Is there anything you'd like to see added to a workflow like this?
Thanks for taking a look at Savyre. We really appreciate every bit of feedback it'll help us build something developers genuinely enjoy using. 🚀
I’ve been using Copilot and Cursor for a while, and the code comes fast — but I kept catching myself accepting stuff I hadn’t really thought through. Savyre doesn’t replace your assistant; it puts a repeatable workflow around it. You clarify the task first, then requirements, codebase discovery, planning, implementation, testing, debugging, a security pass, and finally you sign off that you own what shipped. That structure sounds heavy on paper, but in practice it stops the “AI wrote it so I’m done” habit. It’s built for engineering teams working in their own repos, not for sending hiring tests to candidates. I installed the extension in VS Code, opened a project folder, started a session, and went stage by stage. Nothing magic — just a clearer way to work with AI when you actually care about understanding and owning the code.
