Savor is an Intention Layer™ for thoughts that never reach your to-do list. Speak, type, or snap a photo to create a clear card in Now, Soon, or Later. Reminders bring it back when it matters. Take Action (Beta) helps you explore options, build a plan or list, and draft words you can use. Review and adjust as you go. Hand off a card or a single step, with a private chat for context. You decide what happens next. Free on iOS and Android.

Hi Product Hunt. I’m Lana, and I built Savor because of the thoughts that never make it anywhere.

When we interviewed early users, everyone had a system for the big things: a calendar, an inbox, a to-do list. What they did not have was a place for the other ten percent: the hallway conversation, the flyer on the fridge, the podcast someone mentioned. Those lived in their heads, and came back at midnight.

How it works

  1. Speak, type, or snap a bill, letter, or flyer.

  2. Savor shapes it into a clear card: what it is, when it matters, what to do next.

  3. Cards sit in Now, Soon, or Later.

  4. They come back with reminders you control.

What makes it different

Hand off a card or a single step to someone else, with a private chat for context. Once they accept, they become its editor and receive its reminders. You keep a read-only copy and can take it back. No streaks, badges, or scores.

A few things to try

  • Photograph a bill so its details do not get lost.

  • Capture someone you meant to call or a place a friend recommended.

  • Hand a card to your partner instead of carrying it alone.

  • Use voice capture, a Siri shortcut on iPhone, or add a card to your calendar.

We call this an Intention Layer™: a place for things while they are still becoming something.

Try it free on iPhone and Android.

Which thought would you give Savor first? I’d love to hear what feels useful and what it gets wrong.

Comment highlights

Does a photo of a book page stay as a note I can reread, or does it always try to turn it into a task? For me a lot of "later" would be lines from books I'm reading.

Congrats on the launch! I appreciate the transparent details on your privacy policy, especially keeping memory on-device and redacting what goes to the model. I have two quick questions:

  1. Encryption exists on Firestore which is great to keep data secure at rest but when data leaves Firestore to the backend app and ultimately the user's device, is data still encrypted? In other words, is it an end to end encryption where both Savor and Google can't read the Synced cards?

  2. I could not under your Ad measurement clearly enough. I think it starts on for adults, correct?

A big thank-you to everyone who supported Savor’s launch today! Your thoughtful questions, feedback, and encouragement have meant so much to us. We’ll follow up on the questions still awaiting answers. Thank you for being part of our day! ❤️

I like the concept of Savor, it allows people to set an intention or resolution without it immediately turning into just another task. I’m curious, if someone doesn’t specify a particular date. how do you determine when that reminder should resurface?

Handing off just one step with its own private chat is the detail that caught my eye too. When someone accepts that step, do they only see that step and its chat, or can they see the rest of the card as well? I'm curious how you draw that line, especially for the more personal cards.

Capturing intentions is the easy part. What’s the nudge that actually gets people to follow through?

I have a question for any of you out there exploring our app for the first time today, one that those of us here at SAVOR have been curious about. What do you think of our onboarding experience?

We're aware that if it's too long people will skip it but then they may not know about some of SAVOR's more powerful features under the hood.

But if we make the onboarding shorter and quicker, then many of those more powerful features are still undiscovered.

We're super curious to hear the community's thoughts and opinions.

Congrats, team! I like the concept, but I can't totally get how is this different from Apple Reminders or a regular to-do app?

congrats, the team! why there is no streaks, points, badges, or productivity scores, feel it may be some lack of motivation to move through the tasks?

This looks really interesting. The ease and 'just pop this in for later' is crucial in this space

handing off one step with its own context is the detail that stands out here

a whole task can be too much to delegate when u only need someone to help with one small part

Now, Soon and Later is about as much sorting as I'd want to do when saving a passing thought. Nice to keep that first step small.

I like that it’s for all the little things you think, 'I should remember that' and then immediately forget. Nice Launch!@lhenleycohn @aaditya_menon @juri_henley_cohn

Looks interesting, but how private is this? Some of this could be pretty personal.

Handing off a single step instead of the whole card is a nice touch, since shared tasks tend to get vague. Once someone accepts a card, do they get its reminders right away?
