The Problem:
Like many of you, my Instagram "Saved" folder had turned into a digital black hole. I was constantly saving amazing marketing inspiration, swipe-file material, and design ideas, but finding them weeks later was a nightmare. Instagram makes it incredibly hard to search for or organise your saves outside its app, and I was tired of endlessly scrolling to find that one post.
The Solution:
I decided to build SaveVault to set that data free finally. It’s a lightweight Chrome extension that lets you extract your saved collections and turn them into an organized, offline database.
Here is what it does:

🔒 Privacy-First: Everything runs locally directly in your browser. No data is sent to external servers.
📊 Rich Data Capture: It grabs the post URLs, media links, and captions so you have a complete swipe file.
The Evolution:
I initially just wanted a simple script for myself, but as I started testing it, I realized how many content creators and marketers desperately needed a way to back up their research. That pushed me to polish the UI, get it approved on the Chrome Web Store, and make it a seamless 1-click experience.
