Been looking for something like this since self-hosting Vaultwarden felt like too much upkeep. Lifetime plan is what caught my eye. One thing that would really help though is a built-in migration tool so I can move my existing Bitwarden vault over without exporting and reimporting everything manually.
Self-hosting Bitwarden myself always felt like more upkeep than it was worth, so a managed option at this price point is genuinely appealing. One thing that would seal the deal for me is TOTP code storage built right into the vault rather than needing a separate authenticator app. Would love to see that rolled into the Personal and Family tiers.
Love seeing a lifetime option in there, that kind of upfront commitment from a host shows real confidence in the service. Vaultwarden setup is usually a headache so having it managed cleanly is a nice touch.
migrated my whole vault over yesterday and everything synced smoothly, no downtime. love that the lifetime plan exists instead of nickel-and-diming me every year
Love the Lifetime plan idea, that alone makes this stand out from other Bitwarden hosts. One thing I'd suggest is adding a built-in TOTP authenticator field directly in the import flow, so people moving from another password manager can bring their 2FA codes along without juggling a separate app. Would make the switch much smoother.
Bitwarden's official clients work but it would be really nice if SantoWarden shipped a tiny browser helper that autofills logins without needing the full extension, since a lot of self-hosted alternatives kind of skip that step

SantoWarden was hunted by Keith Tysinger. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
