Write your flows as text, build them in a visual list, or paste a spreadsheet, and get a Sankey diagram. Show leftovers as Remainder boxes, then export PNG, PDF, or SVG. A native Mac app with no account; nothing leaves your Mac. $6.99.
Hi Product Hunt, I'm Jaime from Creixems Studio.
SankeyFlow turns a list of flows into a Sankey diagram: the chart that shows how a total splits and merges as it moves from one place to another. Budgets, energy use, website traffic, headcount, material flows — if a total divides into parts, it draws it.
It's a native Mac app, so there's no browser tab and no account. You can write flows as text, one line each (`Salary [3000] Budget`, which will feel familiar if you've used SankeyMATIC), build them in a drag-to-reorder list, or paste a spreadsheet. Then style it, choose a flow direction, and export a PNG, PDF, or clean SVG.
Version 1.1 shipped on October 8 with Remainder, a feature users asked for: when a box receives more than it passes on (or less), show the difference as a Remainder box, send it to a box you choose, or leave a gap. It also adds version history, tabs, and a refreshed look.
SankeyFlow runs entirely on your Mac and collects nothing. It's $6.99 on the Mac App Store and needs macOS 26 or later.
I'd love to hear what you'd chart with it, and what's missing.

Who hunted SankeyFlow?
SankeyFlow was hunted by Jaime Creixems. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
