Sangathan
The operating system for communities and collective action
Sangathan is a zero-tech, mobile-first operating system for communities, citizen groups, NGOs, student unions, worker unions and grassroots organizations. Build your organization, coordinate members, run campaigns, conduct audits, manage documents and make collective decisions from one platform. Designed for India, Sangathan brings organizing tools that usually require multiple disconnected apps into one accessible system.
Ye important hai because Product Hunt specifically asks what inspired you and what problem you're solving.
I would make the founder comment more personal and strong:
Sangathan started with a simple problem: organizing people shouldn't require a dozen different apps, spreadsheets and WhatsApp groups.
Grassroots organizations, citizen groups, student unions, NGOs and community leaders often have the people and the ideas, but lack the digital infrastructure to coordinate them effectively.
We built Sangathan as a mobile-first operating system for collective action. It brings organization management, member coordination, campaigns, audits, documents and democratic decision-making into one place.
We're building it with India in mind, but the problem is universal: communities deserve better infrastructure to organize themselves.
This is our first Product Hunt launch, and we're here to learn. We'd love feedback from builders, organizers and anyone who has tried to run a community at scale.

Who hunted Sangathan?
Sangathan was hunted by Arsalan Azad. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
