Sakurato Crypto Portfolio Tracker
Track crypto portfolios inside WordPress — no wallet needed
Unlike SaaS trackers that store your data on their servers, Sakurato keeps everything in your own WordPress database. Real-time prices for 13,000+ coins via CoinGecko (no API key required), automatic P&L & ROI calculations, interactive charts, and 10 shortcodes to embed live data on any public page. Privacy-first, self-hosted, free forever.
I built Sakurato because every crypto tracker I found either required connecting my wallet (scary), stored data on someone else's server (nope), or had nothing to do with WordPress (where my audience lives).
As a content creator running a crypto blog, I wanted to embed a live, transparent portfolio directly on my site — so readers could see my actual holdings, not just my claims.
What started as a "quick plugin" turned into a full portfolio management system: real-time prices, P&L calculations, ROI charts, historical snapshots, performance periods (24H → ALL), and 10 shortcodes to embed anything anywhere.
v4.0 was a major refactor — removed the 3.5 MB Freemius SDK, moved price caching to a dedicated DB table with stale-while-revalidate so pages load instantly, and rebuilt the dashboard from scratch.
The free version on WordPress.org is fully functional forever. The optional Pro add-on ($49/yr) adds unlimited portfolios and a tax/reporting module for power users.
Would love your feedback — especially from anyone running a crypto blog on WordPress!
