S3 Explorer — a desktop (Win, Linux, Mac) S3 browser for 25 S3-compatible providers:
AWS S3, MinIO, Cloudflare R2, Backblaze B2, Wasabi, Ceph, Dell ECS... with over 25 connection presets (endpoint format, regions and addressing mode already filled in)
S3 Explorer keeps a local index instead. Search is around 100x faster, and you stop paying for repeated LIST calls (up to 50% API cost reduction with the cache efficiency compared to standard S3 tools).
Then it handles the objects: view text, PDF and images, play audio and video, edit text and images in a built-in editor. The Swiss army knife for S3 and bucket storage.
Windows, macOS and Linux. Written in Rust — a 30 MB native binary, not a bundled browser.
Every feature is in the free tier. The licence only lifts the 5-profile limit: €11.50 once, or €1.99/month.
Rough edge: the Windows installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen warns on first run.
