Ryban is a privacy-first wealth tracker for iPhone: your data lives on-device and in your personal iCloud - no accounts, no servers, no bank logins. Track accounts across 29 currencies with offline-capable FX, see allocation analytics, and plan FIRE with on-device Monte Carlo projections. 8 widgets incl. lock screen and Control Center. Built 100% with Apple frameworks, zero third-party SDKs. Free core; a Pro tier funds it instead of ads or data sales.
Hi Product Hunt! Solo dev here.
I built Ryban because every net worth app I tried wanted my bank credentials routed through an aggregator. Ryban flips that: you own the data, I run zero servers. Everything lives on your device and in your personal iCloud.
The trade-off is manual entry - which turned out to be a feature. A deliberate monthly "close" beats a passive dashboard for actually noticing lifestyle creep and allocation drift.
Tech notes for the curious: 100% Swift/SwiftUI, zero third-party SDKs, CloudKit sync, fully offline-capable (29 currencies with fallback FX rates), Monte Carlo retirement projections computed on-device, 2,300+ automated tests.
Free core; Pro (analytics + projections) funds it instead of ads or data sales.
Ask me anything - especially skeptical questions about the privacy model.
