Runhooks is a platform for scheduling HTTP tasks (webhooks) with built-in retries, execution logs, and failure alerts—so you can run critical jobs without relying on fragile cron setups.
Hey everyone 👋
I built Runhooks after running into the same issue in almost every project: scheduled jobs.
Cron works for simple cases- but once things start failing, it becomes painful:
* no visibility into what actually ran
* no retries when something breaks
* debugging becomes guesswork
Runhooks is my attempt to fix that.
It lets you schedule HTTP tasks (webhooks) with:
• smart retries on failure
• full logs (including responses)
• alerts when something goes wrong
• a simple dashboard to see everything
**Typical use cases:**
* DB syncs / backups
* newsletters & scheduled workflows
* health checks
* keep-alive pings
* payment reconciliation
* AI / automation pipelines
There’s a generous free tier, and I’d really love feedback- especially from people who’ve felt the pain of cron in production.
Happy to answer any questions here 🙏
