Hey Product Hunt! 👋
Solo dev here — Runely is my first mobile game after 22 years of web development. Been lurking on PH for years, finally shipping something myself.
**The story:**
Wordle is amazing but ends too quickly each day. I wanted to add "reason to come back tomorrow" through card collection.
You solve one 5-letter word daily → spin the mystic wheel → get either coins or a fantasy card. Rarer cards = better celebration animation.
**What I'd love feedback on:**
1. Does the card collection mechanic actually add value, or is it a gimmick?
2. Is the daily puzzle challenging enough?
3. What would you build differently as your first mobile game?
**Tech stack:**
React Native / Expo SDK 53 / Firebase / AdMob / Google Play Billing.
Biggest challenge? IAP was completely broken on launch. Expo SDK 53's New Architecture doesn't propagate Google Play Billing events correctly. Fixed with polling + recovery mechanism across 4 patch releases.
Free on Google Play. iOS coming later if there's demand.
