We started as hirebtr.com, an advanced hiring platform matching talent using AI and personality metrics. But our users quickly showed us a bigger problem: once the hire was made, they were drowning in software bloat, jumping between separate tools for sales, engineering, and finance.
They started hacking our relational database to track sales leads and operations. We realized businesses don't need another isolated HR app but one place to manage and see data.
So, we pivoted. We built runbutter.app, a unified, open-source Company OS designed to make running a business smooth.
