run402
The full stack an AI agent can spin up and pay for
run402 is a full-stack platform (Postgres, auth, storage, functions, frontend hosting) an AI agent can provision, deploy, and pay for on its own: per call via x402 or MPP, or card credits as its allowance. Atomic deploys, hard spend caps, structured errors. Open source.
Hi Product Hunt, Barry from Kychee here.
Every app our coding agents built hit the same wall: the agent writes the product in hours, then stops dead at the plumbing. Go sign up somewhere, configure the backend, paste keys. So we built run402, where the agent itself is the customer.
It spins up the whole app on its own: Postgres, auth, storage, serverless functions, and the frontend, shipped in one atomic deploy. And it pays for it: per call over x402 or MPP (the open payment rails from Coinbase and Stripe), or from card credits you load as its allowance. Prepaid and hard-capped, so it can never surprise you with a bill. No signup, no pasted keys, and it hands you a live URL.
The whole platform is open source (MIT surfaces, Apache-2.0 core); the hosted version at run402.com is how we fund it. Our own products run on it in production, kysigned (which some of you saw here) was the first.
To see it happen, open your coding agent and paste: "Please build me a demo app using run402.com/llms-cli.txt". The prototype tier is free. And "a demo app" is just the placeholder: swap it for something specific, "a multiplayer hangman with a scoreboard" works too.
Happy to answer anything, especially where the agent-as-customer model breaks.
