Rumix turns a solo Claude Code session into a real multiplayer workspace, with live file collaboration, role-based permissions, and one join code to bring anyone in. Your coding agent, shared with your team.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Amit. I'm building Prettiflow (https://prettiflow.com) with a team of four out of Bangalore, and Rumix came out of a problem we kept hitting on our own team.
Coding agents are single-player. All four of us had Claude Code open, each in a separate session, each re-explaining the same context to it. Someone would go to bed mid-task and whatever the agent had figured out went with them. We'd paste snippets into Slack to show each other what it did. It felt ridiculous we were a team using a tool that assumed one person.
So I built Rumix as a hobby project on nights and weekends. It makes a coding agent session actually multiplayer:
- One join code. Someone joins in seconds. No repo access, no setup on their end.
- Everyone shares one session. Same context, same files, same history. Whoever's awake picks up where the last person stopped.
- Roles that hold. Owners, editors, viewers, with per-path rules enforced server-side. A viewer can't read the .env you withheld, however they ask.
- Claude Code or Codex. Your pick per session.
- Your own subscription. It runs the real CLIs on your machine, signed in as you already are. Nothing is proxied through me and no key is ever handed over.
It's macOS only right now, and it's genuinely early I've been fixing things as our own team hits them.
If you work with an agent alongside other people, I'd love to know whether this matches your problem or misses it. Also happy to answer anything about how it works under the hood.

Who hunted Rumix?
Rumix was hunted by Amit. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
