I'm Sherif. I built RssDrop because the Friday competitive briefing was killing me.
I'm a marketer, not an engineer. Every Friday I'd open 40+ competitor blogs in tabs, copy headlines into a doc, and try to spot what was new before my 10am meeting. I tried Feedly, Inoreader, five Chrome extensions — they were all built by engineers who think a feed is an inbox. I wanted one feed of sources I picked, filtered to what I care about, pushed to where my team already talks.
So I built it. Six months, nights and weekends, never written production code before in my life.
