Hi Product Hunt,
I built RPM because I kept watching students - including me - use ChatGPT as a tutor and get worse results than they expected.
The explanation is always good. That is not the problem. The problem is that nothing happens afterwards. No one checks a week later whether it stuck. No one notices you have dodged the same weak topic four times. You feel like you studied, because reading a clear explanation feels like learning, and then the exam disagrees.
So RPM keeps the conversational tutor but wraps a real structure around it.
Ask about a subject and it builds a learning journey with modules and milestones. As you work through it, quizzes and spaced-repetition flashcards verify what actually landed, and progress tracking surfaces the weak spots you would otherwise avoid.
A few things I ended up building that I did not plan to:
- A dedicated logical reasoning mode, because that is where students struggled most and generic chat handled it worst
- Study rooms, because people asked to do this together
- An institutional layer - departments, bulk onboarding, cohort analytics -
after colleges asked whether they could run it for a whole year group
